Today as our first real day in Seoul we started with a scavenger hunt . My group was tasked with finding a local spot of interest using its Seoul Future Heritage number which is given out by the people of Seoul to location they feel have elements of their city that they believe are most worthy of preservation and remembrance. The building we were led to was the Seoul Folk Flea market.Unfortunately for my group the market was undergoing construction and wasn’t available to walk around at the moment. This particular market is the biggest one of its kind in Seoul and resides within the former Dongdaemun Stadium.

After this outing we all met up at the Bank of Korean Money museum where we got to learn about the history of koreas money as well as some history about other countries money. We even got to do a stamp scavenger hunt and print money with our faces on it.

Finally we ended the day going to N-Tower which is a 360 Paneramic viewing location seated high up in the skyline. Oringinally it was a radio wave tower for broadcasting television and radio but now it is more of a tourist attraction. Much of Seoul is visible atop the concrete and steel structure. It was created 10 years after the Seattle space needle. The most interesting aspect of N tower for me is the fact that it lights up in colors coordinated to the air quality with blue meaning it’s a clear day and red meaning there is a highly level of pollution.
